Our Story
Thai Kickboxing Organization, LLC (TKO) was founded in 2015 by Nathan and Hannah Speaks with a clear vision: to build a high-quality, community-driven martial arts organization rooted in discipline, empowerment, and results.
Within just three months of opening , TKO grew to 90 students , demonstrating immediate demand for our programs and culture. As momentum continued, we moved into a larger, more strategic location in 2016 . By 2018 , TKO expanded again to accommodate growth, serving over 200 active students .
In 2019 , TKO was proudly voted Best Martial Arts School in Iredell County , with enrollment surpassing 300 students - a milestone that confirmed the strength of our brand, instruction, and systems.
Recognizing the scalability of this success, Nathan and Hannah made the decision early on to trademark and franchise TKO , positioning Thai Kickboxing Organization for long-term growth and expansion.
By the end of 2025 , TKO sold its first franchise location, scheduled to open in Hickory , North Carolina in Spring 2026 , marking the official launch of TKO’s franchise expansion.
